Edit Your Background and Change the Music

Changing the look and environment of the venue and rooms makes a huge difference in how your attendees feel at your event. If you're having a beach themed party where everyone comes dressed in floral prints, change the background to reflect that and have our "Tropical Island" music playing in the back.

See below for an example of what a holiday themed background can look like!

Try themed room backgrounds such as stars and galaxies, favourite beaches around the world, rainforest themed and even Hogwarts Houses!

To edit your background, follow these simple steps:

  1. From your main venue page - click "Edit Venue"
  2. You'll now see an option for "Venue Background Image"
  3. Make sure the background image is 1920 x 1080 p and no larger than 2MB or else it will produce an error message!
  4. Click upload and then hit "Save"
  5. If it doesn't show up automatically, click Refresh on the page and you should see the changes!

Darker coloured images are recommended so the videos of attendees pop! So go for dark blues, purples greens and greys if possible!

To change the music for each room, follow these simple steps:

  1. From your main venue page - click the 3 dots beside each room and click "Edit Room"
  2. You will see a pop up that allows you to edit different aspects of the room, including one for Background music.

  1. Preview each track by clicking "Preview" (this might take a second to load).
  2. Once you hit Save Changes, it will reflect the change inside the room.

To change the volume inside each room, follow these simple steps:

  1. Inside the room, clicking the speaker button beside All Tables will show a pop up menu to change the background music as well as background chatter.

  1. Any attendee can click on the slider to adjust the volume for themselves but as a host, you can set the maximum volume for the entire room by clicking "Set Room Limit" for both the music and background chatter.
